Do I need my doctor‘s prescription to
get my blood test?
Your doctor’s order is not necessary to get your blood tested.
Our health screening tests offered to consumers are intended for use
as educational tools for preventive healthcare. Ultimately, you may
wish to consult a physician, although this may not be necessary.

Are there any hidden
costs?
Blood-Check.com
offers simple, flat-rate pricing. You are responsible to pay for the
test you choose and nothing more. Additional services, such as other tests, or
consulting with our staff physicians are optional, and therefore at
additional cost.

Are
Blood-Check.com's services covered by my insurance?
We cannot guarantee that an insurance
company will reimburse you for a screening test. Please contact your
insurance representative or your benefits coordinator to discover the extent of your coverage.
Traditionally, about 50% of the claims are reimbursed 80-100% if the
deductible has been satisfied. Some insurance companies
do not pay for preventative health screening because the tests are not
considered "medically necessary". Your health is important
and you may choose to make your own decisions.

Will Medicare pay for this?
No.
These tests are for wellness screening and assessment. Medicare does
not pay since the tests are not considered "medically
necessary". It is illegal to file a claim for a screening test
with Medicare or Medicaid. Please contact your state's
representative for more information.

Can my family and friends have a
blood test done even if they are in another state?
Blood-Check.com operates throughout most of the continental
United States.
By special arrangement we may be able to accommodate patients in
Alaska and Hawaii or in U.S. territories. Overall though, there is a
high probability that your friends and family will live close to a
contracted Blood-Check.com center. Please contact
us to find out more.

Are the results of my test
confidential?
Yes, 100%!
We respect your privacy and maintain complete confidentiality. You are the
only one who receives the results unless you direct us
otherwise. Not even your insurance company will obtain the results
unless you provide them to your carrier or your physician. If
you request, we will fax a copy of your report to your doctor. All we need is the doctor’s name, phone number and
fax number.

Will I be able to understand
the results of my tests?
Blood-Check.com will make every effort to provide you with the education you need to
understand your test results. Please
refer to Tests and
Descriptions for descriptions of the blood test reports.
Our aim is to provide you with tools for early warning of developing poor
health conditions and direct you to information on wellness and
disease prevention. Though we cannot diagnose or treat disease, we
can offer you recommendations for diet, lifestyle and nutritional
supplements based on the results of your health screening. We recommend
you seek a licensed healthcare provider if your test results are
outside of normal reference ranges.
If
you have any questions, comments or suggestions please email
us.
